How do I know if my mobile phone is locked?
Switch on your mobile phone with a sim card from a network other than the network you are currently with. If you are able to use the phone, you can be sure that your phone is not locked. If your phone displays an error message saying "Wrong sim" or "Incorrect sim" or "Emergency calls only", etc., then your phone is probably locked.

| I have HTC TOUCH PRO. My problem is not with the SIM card or calls. I have a password to unlock the phone every time I open it but this password don't work now. I didn't forget my password !! It just don't work. I made soft reset many times. Nothing work. I can't unlock the screen. I don't want to do hard reset and to lose all the data and new interface. Do you have an idea what can I do? | Hi i purchased a vodafone network nokia c3 at christmas and i have currently changed my network 2 metor i have unlocked my phone but my problem is tat my settings on my fone for my internet is still vodafone how do i change this ? Aoife | |
